Gerry's grade has reached three digits on occasions. He knows Garry Kasparov 'well'? Must be all those games they've played together down the years
As for the chess sets: 250,000 promised; 20 delivered so far - ten in Hastings; ten in Gerry's backyard. At this rate, the last lot should appear in schools around 4675 AD

250,000! I hope Mr Walsh has a very large garage. As Merseyside junior organiser; do you know when and where these sets/boards are to be allocated David? Sounds like more than enough to go around all schools. _________________ Semper exvuider analyein |

I hope that in order for these free sets to be successfully distributed to schools: a). The only profit made is for Chess itself and b) peeps put their differences aside in helping distribute them.
250,000 Chess Sets! And so much negativity from so many quarters - perhaps expecting these sets to be used as firewood by schools perhaps?
There are quarter of a million Chess Sets in a holding, that's a fact, it's a thing we can't deny, and I'd love to see them distributed before I die. Sorry Katie _________________ Semper exvuider analyein |
