Sean. You've indicated that you prefer a venue without these restrictions

Correct - but in your diatribe you fail to ask why do I prefer not to have the restriction? The answer is economics. It means I can run the tea stall (at, dare I say it, a profit) and therefore reduce the entry fee to my customers - the players.

and you have spent a long time making all sorts of 'excuses' why it is hard to find a 'perfect' venue.

Not at all. The perfect venue is easy to find. Paying for it, now thats another matter. I'm sure you'd be the first to moan if entry fees doubled!!

The main purpose of this thread was to see what others thought about the restrictions. Does it bother them?

I've told you the criteria for hosting the British. Stewart Reuben will be looking forward to receiving your offer to host the 2010 event.

OK guys. That's enough on this nonsense thread.

He finally found the 'edit' function, and deleted his comments. Messing about with a thread is a 'cardable offence' - yellow in this case because the matters at stake were inconsequential; red otherwise.

Thread closed now
