A 5 round weekender with a FIDE Rated Open British Championship Qualifier plus U155, U125 and U95 sections. A nice hotel venue (De Veres Denham Grove Hotel, Tilehouse Lane, Denham, Nr Uxbridge, Bucks, UB9 5DU) only a few miles from M1 / M40 / M25 with discounted rates (from 30 pppn for b&b) for our chess players. For good prize money and great surroundings to play chess in, this is the event for you.

FIDE Open (Open to all). This event will be FIDE rated and the highest placed player not already qualified will qualify for the 2009 British Championships in Torquay.

1st 350 ; 2nd 200 ; 3rd 100 ; + 50 grading prizes Entry Fee 28

Major Open to players graded below 155

1st 250 ; 2nd 150 ; 3rd 75 ; + 50 grading prizes Entry Fee 24

Intermediate Open to players graded below 125

1st 200 ; 2nd 100 ; 3rd 50 ; + 50 grading prizes Entry Fee 21

Minor Open to players graded below 95

1st 200 ; 2nd 100 ; 3rd 50 ; + 50 grading prizes Entry Fee 21
