Hastings Masters

A 9 round accelerated Swiss Pairing event. Rate of play. 40 moves in 100 minutes, then 20 moves in 50 minutes, followed by all moves in 15 minutes with the addition of 30 seconds for each move from the start. LIVE Masters games will be broadcast daily starting at 14.15 GMT.

Christmas a.m. and Christmas p.m. (5 rounds, 28 Dec - 1 Jan)

Weekend Congress (5 rounds, 2-3 Jan)   

New Year (4 round Swiss over two days, 4-5 Jan). This event is organised in graded sections of approximately 16 players.

The Hastings Congress is held at the Horntye Park Sports Complex, Bohemia Road, Hastings, TN34 1EX

Horntye Park is just over 1km from the town centre. Bus services go from the town centre to the venue. There is adequate car-parking space on the premises. The playing hall is accessible to players with disabilities. There are toilet facilities for players with disabilities and a lift between floors. Catering facilities will be available during most of the playing times.
